Hi, I'm Ben.
I'm a designer with 7 years experience helping big companies and startups uncover opportunities and deliver valuable (and beautifully designed) new products & services. Currently I'm helping people manage their money and budget better at Monzo Bank.
How I Work
I work end-to-end – from research & problem validation, all the way through to visual design and high-fidelity prototyping. I think in systems, ask the difficult questions and am never happier than when talking to users.
Since 2021 I've been a Senior Product Designer at Monzo, a startup building the bank of the future. If you're based in the UK, you might have seen one of their famous hot coral cards when out and about.

Writing
Writing is an important part of my design practice. I write a fortnightly design newsletter called Design Lobster 
that features one question, one object and one quote from the world of design in every issue, plus takeaway lessons for readers to bring to their own design work.
